The Global Affairs Office of the University of Macau (UM) recently kicked off the 2011 International Fair: UM Goes Global.

The Global Affairs Office of the University of Macau (UM) recently kicked off the 2011 International Fair: UM Goes Global. The purpose of the 2011 International Fair is to help UM students have a deeper understanding of the cultures of different countries as well as UM’s international network of partner institutions so that students can be aware of the various opportunities to study abroad under the exchange programme.

As long-term partners with the UM, the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong & Macau, Alliance Françaises Macau and CampusFrance have joint the fabulous opening ceremony of the fair and contributed to the success of the event. Three organizations coordinated two seminars of wine sampling with the Global Affairs Office of UM. A presentation on French culture and study in France was jointly conducted by Alliance Françaises Macau and CampusFrance. The feedback is excellent in which students and stuff in UM understand more about different aspects of France. We are looking forward to the 2012 International Fair in order to introduce students in UM more about France.
